Introducing Adish.
New Tel-Aviv based label Adish recently unveiled their debut collection titled “Sea of Sand” for autumn/winter 2019 which presents a slew of middle eastern and military-inspired garb from tribal people of times past.
With particular reference to the late 1800s and early 1900s, the label imagines the initial exchanges between the native Bedouin tribes of “Greater Syria” and European colonialists and fuses elements of both into a contemporary, yet heritage steeped offering. While the utilitarian aesthetic is particularly strong within some piece such as embroidered shirts, overcoats and work pants; the range also spans a selection of more casual pieces such as sweatshirts, joggers and caps arriving in a relatively muted selection of beige, black and navy tones with pops of red and blue.
