Having already created several influential sneaker silhouettes, Balenciaga is hoping to add another one to the list with the latest unveiling of a brand new sneaker silhouette.
The Demna Gvasalia headed Parisian label’s latest offering is dubbed the Tyrex sneaker and boasts a unique asymmetrical caged upper that will release in three distinct colourways such as silver and black, red and black and neon yellow and black. Merging signature sportswear aesthetics with classic office shoes and human anatomy, the tech-infused sneaker features an intricate layered upper that’s informed by a natural web of muscles. With a unisex, the Tyrex sports a shock-absorbing midsole and outsole and is finished with a blunt square toe box with “TYREX” branding.
