After having an uber-successful 2019, sacai and Nike are back with a reimagined take of their super-hyped LDV Waffle sneakers.
First shown at the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2020 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, Nike and sacai is now set to the release the “White Nylon” and “Black Nylon” tonal iterations of their collaborative sneakers. Designed by sacai’s Chitose Abe, the highly anticipated sneakers sport monochromatic nylon uppers elevated with leather and suede panels. Keeping with the theme that made the shoes a hit amongst sneakerheads, Abe again doubles up on the tongue, the midfoot Swooshes and the dual “NIKE” branding that sits on the rear of the sneaker.
Highly anticipated, the sacai x Nike LDV Waffle “White Nylon” and “Black Nylon” sneakers are expected to hit Nike retailers on March 10th. Retailing for $160, you’ll be able to shop the collaborative sneakers online at retailers such as SSENSE, FarFetch and LUISAVIAROMA
