For Spring/Summer 2022, A-COLD-WALL* and Dr Martens are teaming up to release another collaborative sneaker, this time tackling the 1460 boot and the 1461 shoe.
After their first collaboration in 2020, A-COLD-WALL* designer Samuel Ross has consistently implemented his utilitarian design style onto Dr Martens Original Icons, with this latest effort looking to form a perfect stylistic balance between the two brands.
The 1460 boot and 1461 shoe keep the sharp, angular features that have been used in previous collaborations alongside the classic smooth leather that Dr Martens are so famous for. Enclosed lacing across the two silhouettes adds the A-COLD-WALL* touch and attention to detail, with additional A-COLD-WALL* branded reflective panels offering these shoes an additional layer of utility that leans into Dr Martens’ history in uniform and workwear. Finished off with yellow stitching and a black and yellow AirWair heel loop, this latest effort from the two brands might just provide the most balanced aesthetic offering from the pair’s recent releases.
Gear up for the A-COLD-WALL* x Dr Martens 1460 boot and 1461 shoe to drop on March 3rd via the A-COLD-WALL* website, with the pairs also dropping on March 5th via the Dr Martens website.
