Sportswear icons FILA and luxury streetwear brand Aries have come together for a collaborative capsule, named ‘Vela Nera’.
The capsule looks to pay a visual homage to the myth of Theseus and Minotaur, a famous Ancient Greek myth, whilst also combining this with an Italian approach to design. Focusing in on everyday pieces and sportswear, the FILA x Aries unisex collection features pieces that are materially inspired by a sailing aesthetic and vintage style monogram logo prints, with nylon tracksuits, windbreakers, button-up shirts, and long and short-sleeved t-shirts being up for grabs. All pieces feature a range of collaborative FILA x Aries logo designs, with all-over monogram prints featuring consistently throughout. Some standout pieces include the Hybrid Tailored Jacket and Cargo Vest in navy, the Logo Print Slacker Pant in gold monogram, as well as the Flag Logo Windcheater Jacket in marble print.
