The long-awaited release of the 1017-ALYX-9SM x Nike Zoom 005 slide finally looks upon us as two colourways of the heavily teased shoe are unveiled.
Having long been teased by Givenchy Creative Director, and founder of 1017-ALYX-9SM, Matthew M Williams, the MMW Nike Zoom 005 slider pack is finally set to release in two ‘Black’ and ‘Light Bone’ colourways. Merging the influences of his life in both the USA and Europe in tandem with the newest technical innovations, Matthew M Williams takes an adaptable approach to this collaboration as the enigmatic designer composes both pairs with a utilitarian comfort-centric dual-foam outsole, heat-expelling upper perforations, underfoot drainage holes to maintain dryness, as well as subtle MMW and Nike branding spread across both the footbed and upper. The pairs are also set to arrive with their own pack bag, allowing sneakerheads to take their pair anywhere they need to go.
Both colourways of the MMW Nike Zoom 005 slider will be available to buy via the 1017-ALYX-9SM website on September 9th.
