His debut runway collection will be shown at London Fashion Week in February 2023
After a three-year spell at Bottega Veneta, which saw a strong resurgence into the limelight for the Italian luxury brand, Daniel Lee is coming back to the UK as he is appointed Chief Creative Officer at Burberry. This news comes days after the British heritage brand revealed that Ricardo Tisci would be stepping down, after hosting his last show for Burberry at a delayed London Fashion Week show.
Daniel Lee’s star-studded resume includes Celine, Balenciaga, Maison Margiela and Donna Karan and with the commercial success he was able to ignite at his previous employers, he seems like the right person to build on Tisci’s legacy.
