Amsterdam-founded outfit and streetwear icons Patta are set to continue their long line of collaborations as they join forces with New Balance for a family-oriented version of the 990v3 sneaker silhouette.
Having previously come together for collaborative iterations of the New Balance 920 and 991 silhouettes, both Patta and New Balance join hands once more as they unveil campaign imagery for the Patta x New Balance 990v3. Made for “all members of the family”, this third sneaker instalment from Patta and New Balance holds the mantra “Keep Your Family Close” as the central tagline to the upcoming release, with the drop looking to bring people together and harness “[…] the power of togetherness.”
The sneaker itself boasts a mixed suede and mesh upper, with underlays of sand-coloured mesh being overlapped by shades of olive on the suede overlays. Additionally, similarly shaded olive shoelaces come as standard with this pair, whilst a robust white midsole, signature New Balance ‘N’ branding on the midfoot, volt green leather accents, and hits of silver complete the central standouts from the pair. In relation to additional branding, Patta initials are placed on the rear heel of the shoe alongside additional New Balance insignia, with the 990v3’s classic ‘Made in USA’ lettering also making an appearance.
Arriving in full family sizing, the collection will also see a family-friendly set of garments drop alongside the 990v3, with a selection of t-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts and sweatpants being up for grabs. Each piece arrives in tonal olive and volt green colourways, mimicking the colour scheme of the 990v3.
The Patta x New Balance 990v3 sneaker and apparel collection is set to release on September 30th via the Patta website.
