Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears have unveiled campaign imagery for what looks to be their final release of 2022, debuting their “Ming the Tiger of Harlem” capsule collection.
Rounding out 2022 in style, Denim Tears continue to go that extra mile as we enter the new year, having had a wildly successful 2022 with a host of high-profile collaborations, including efforts with Dior, Stüssy, and (b).STROY. For this capsule however, Denim Tears keep it in-house as Tremaine Emory leads with a capsule collection inspired by the famous “Ming the Tiger of Harlem” tale, which tells the story of a real-life tiger that was found living in a Harlem apartment in New York between 2000 and 2003. Embracing an array of graphic prints, signature brand silhouettes, and tiger-themed colour schemes, the collection includes a selection of button-down cargo shirts and trousers, quilted bomber jackets, striped trousers, knitted jumpers, as well as jerseys, t-shirts and three-quarter zip-ups. Some highlights from the new capsule include a marl grey three-quarter zip-up sweatshirt adorned with a green and red tiger graphic and “Le Ming” text, a green military-print co-ord set boasting “Ming the Tiger of Harlem” themed lettering, as well as a black quilted tiger-embroidered bomber jacket.
The Denim Tears “Ming the Tiger of Harlem” capsule collection is available to shop now via the brand’s website.
