A Match Made in Heaven.
Chitose Abe’s sacai debuted an array of collaborations at their most recent Paris Fashion Week runway show, with the pick of the bunch proving to be a new joint effort with French luxury brand Moncler.
Having recently celebrated their 70th anniversary, Moncler undertook their own selection of collaborations with the likes of Palm Angels, Pharrell Williams and football club Inter Milan. This latest effort sees the outdoor wear brand team up with Japanese born outfit sacai for a selection of new pieces for the Fall/Winter 2023 season, combining both the modern deconstructed stylings of sacai with the classic silhouettes of Moncler. Some pieces from the runway collection included puffer jackets, pleated skirts and dresses, adaptable gilets, and suits, with some standout garments including a cropped black puffer jacket adorned with oversized utility pockets and elongated sleeves, a tailored stone grey suit boasting utilitarian tactical straps and sherpa-lined outerwear, as well as a black iteration of Moncler’s Maya jacket.
Whilst no drop date has been set for this collaboration as of yet, expect a release at some point later this year. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
