With the high fashion industry needing to take on more sustainable approaches to design, Maison Margiela is keeping up with the times with their brand new upcycling line titled “Recicla”.
The limited-edition accessories line will take leftover leather used from the production process of items such as the 5AC bag which has been repurposed to create a new wallet. This hybrid piece combines the best of a coin purse and a cardholder to create the perfect compact travel item with the added elegance of the four stitches motif and the Recicla label.
The wallets are available now, along with some other accessories.
