Like You've Never Seen It Before.
In one of 2023’s more unlikely collaborations, Italian luxury brand Palm Angels and British heritage outfit Barbour have linked up to release various versions of the iconic Bedale wax jacket.
After their recent slew of collaborative efforts with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Moncler, and Vans, Palm Angels continue to rule the collaborative roost as they join forces with Barbour for a left-of-centre partnership, one that sees the latter’s signature Bedale wax jacket arrive in shades of hot pink, scarlet ibis and vibrant yellow. The signature spring-time jacket also gets a dose of Palm Angels screen-printed branding on the back. The Palm Angels x Barbour Malik Bedale wax jacket takes inspiration and meaning from the high visibility vests and coats often worn in North America when undertaking country pursuits, forming a standout aspect to this typically traditional silhouette. In terms of its composition, the soon-to-release garment features traditional 6oz Sylkoil wax that has been dyed in the prior-mentioned three exclusive hot hues, all of which coordinate with the 8 wale cord trim, 2oz nylon drip strip, high-density cotton lining and special-edition tartan detailing. Looking to bring forward the bold vision that Palm Angels has become known for, this release attempts to encapsulate a broader sense of freedom, individuality and exploration whilst providing a classic dose of the British countryside.
The Palm Angels x Barbour Bedale wax jacket capsule will be available on March 31st via the Palm Angels and Barbour websites.
