Having long been a fan of the luxury French fashion house, hip-hop star Future has been unveiled as the first creative director of the brand’s sub-label, titled Lanvin Lab.
Exclusively reported by WWD, the news come straight out of left field as the iconic hip-hop star makes his first official foray into the fashion world, continuing to blur the lines between music and fashion. With the recent groundbreaking appointment of Pharrell Williams as Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Future follows in these famous footsteps as he unites with Lanvin for a collaboration that is set to span ready-to-wear garments and accessories for both men and women. The collection is set to release during the Autumn 2023 season and channel Lanvin Lab’s affection for incubating new ideas alongside their main line.
