Having consistently been at the forefront of British menswear in recent years, Wax London are taking yet another considerable step forward with their free-spirited second drop titled, ‘The Journey’.
Intertwining their newest garments and a sense of storytelling, Wax London’s latest creative venture follows three best friends, two guys and a girl, as they spend a spontaneous day and night in London as they bask in their friendships. Taking to East London, the campaign sets the scene of celebration throughout the off-the-cuff trip to the capital, looking to capture that tangible sense of excitement and connection that urban adventures bring. Enter, Wax London’s striking selection of outerwear.
Taking the stage at the forefront of drop 2, Wax London’s new outerwear is seen at the very beginning of the story, with signature Whiting Overshirts debuting on soft corduroy materials and boasting check patterning, with the ever-popular Greenland Jacket also returning. As the group of friends head further into the evening, a chill arrives and prompts them to wrap up, with Wax London’s ‘Camel’ Santoni Coat, hero Chester Coat in ‘Natural’, and the reissued Navarino Mac coming to the rescue in style. Adding to their extensive range of styles, Wax London have built upon their signature Whiting block foundation and added the new Otto Overshirt for those colder months ahead, being similar in shape but unique in the introduction of convenient side pockets in the popular quilted jacquard fabric. A central standout for the new season is the championed Chester Coat, which is available in shades of ‘Natural Houndstooth’, ‘Grey Herringbone’ and ‘Black/Ecru Herringbone’.
