Despite many community insiders beliefs that Travis Scott’s affiliation with the Air Jordan 1 Low was over, official imagery has debuted for a brand new entry.
After the rumoured to be last Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG ‘Neutral Olive’ released back in October 2023, the questions over the Houston hitmaker’s relationship with the classic silhouette have been put to bed as a long-awaited “Canary” yellow version of the OG sneaker makes its official debut. With the internet constantly trying to determine the legitimacy of this pair throughout the past six months, many saw this drop as a pipe dream, but Travis’ donning of the pair in several public outings gave sneaker heads new hope. Arriving just in time for Spring 2024, this genderless effort sees the signature Air Jordan 1 Low OG stay pretty much the same, but as per usual, Travis stamps his mark on this sneaker through a cobalt blue reverse Nike Swoosh, red Cactus Jacket accents on the quarter and tongue, white stitched co-branding on the heel, as well as a Travis Scott x Air Jordan graphic insole. A soft yellow hue adorns the suede upper overlays, whilst rich white leather panels, multicoloured lace options, and a gum outsole complete the pair.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Canary” is expected to drop on May 17th via the Nike SNKRS app.
