High-flying wide-receiver and creative Stefon Diggs is venturing even further into the fashion world as he cements himself in the space with his first official foray into footwear.
Cementing himself as a certifiably modern sportsman from here on out, this ASICS footwear collaboration is a step that many have taken before him, laying the groundwork for brand partnerships of the future and creative ventures of his own, including the platforming of his self-founded Liem Homme brand. For this latest outing, Diggs opts to reimagine ASICS’ GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 sneaker with a minimal makeover of colours, looking to blend into a capsule wardrobe. Taking on a crisp shoe of white for the most part, the pair feature black, silver, and light purple accents as a mesh construction fulfils some comfort-centric duties alongside some expected ASICS midfoot branding, whilst a gridded upper graphic design, a light purple iridescent heel counter, and a love heart-themed charm adornment on the heel round out the pair’s main design features.
