Virgil Abloh Teases Louis Vuitton’s AW20 PFW Presentation Invitation

Taking to IG, Virgil Abloh, who is Louis Vuitton’s Menswear Artistic Director showed off this years invites to the luxury brand’s Autumn/Winter 2020 Paris Fashion Week runway show.

Titled ” Heaven on Earth,” the reveal from Virgil comes just days before the show is set to take place and highlights an LV logo marked clock which is designed in a monochromatic grey hue with the numbers replaced by LV logos. Dubbing the invite as a “literal piece of time,” in the caption of the post, Abloh reveals that the clocks which will be delivered in a specially marked box, have been re-wired to spin anticlockwise, a nod to the metaphor which says ” a broken clock is right twice a day..”

in my mind show 4 is titled “Heaven on Earth”. the invite is a literal piece of time. the clock tho, i re-wired it to spin backwards. there’s also to that metaphor in that but also, as they say “a broke clock is right twice a day…”
