Pharrell Williams Revives the adidas Watermoc for 2026

Fresh from Paris Fashion Week, Pharrell Williams and adidas have officially unveiled the VIRGINIA Watermoc “Starfish”, a contemporary reimagining of the brand’s 1997 Equipment Water Moc. Originally designed for aquatic performance, the archival silhouette has been transformed into a lifestyle slip-on built for both the city and the shoreline.

Debuting in five monochrome colourways, the hybrid design combines elements of the late-’90s Equipment Water Moc with the mid-2000s Carnuba Adventure Moc, balancing outdoor functionality with Pharrell’s distinct design language. First revealed alongside Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2027 presentation, the VIRGINIA Watermoc marks yet another deep dive into adidas’ archive, reviving an overlooked classic for a new generation.
