KidSuper’s “The People’s Runway” Returns For NYFW With Five New Designers

Putting people on.

KidSuper just announced the young designers showing at their upcoming NYFW “The People’s Runway” show in September.

Colm Dillane, the creative force behind KidSuper, has teamed up with Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso once again to bring five emerging Brooklyn-based designers to one of fashion’s biggest stages. The show takes place in Brooklyn on Saturday, September 12th, as part of the CFDA’s official Spring/Summer 2027 New York Fashion Week calendar. Each designer receives a $5,000 grant and direct mentorship as part of the initiative.

The 2026 lineup includes the following designers:

  • Kuai Li of Quine Li — sculptural work exploring body, structure and space, with pieces worn by Katy Perry, Kylie Jenner, Michelle Yeoh and Doja Cat
  • Rey Jaiteh@reyjaiteh — Gambian-born, Harlem-based menswear blending luxury streetwear with refined tailoring
  • Laurel Tiange Fang of Laurel Blue — working at the intersection of fashion, technology and the natural world
  • Moses Aina of IGBO-SISUN — award-winning statement pieces that have dressed UN leaders and Emmy and SAG nominees
  • Roderick Reyes@reyes_roderick — Brooklyn-born, working across red carpet, stage and press looks
