Drake’s 2014 European tour looks with Calvin Klein

This season is the season of patterns, and boohooMAN gives us the full works with cotton paisley tees layered over clashing floral shirts. Maroon, plum and deep crimson reds contrast the pale neutral whitewash shades in this collection, with garments tied around the waist to break up the powerful patterns. Stripes are a dominant player for boohooMAN this season and are featured in Looks 8, 10 and 14. We also see mesh and monochrome, as well as leather look panels for a sporty, yet relaxed feel. Playing on this sporty element is the basketball t-shirt and vest in Looks 16 and 18 which also hold light casual shapes; the use of rolled-up sleeves and sports mesh give a modern twist to the looks. Dungarees add an element of boldness and are seen paired with dark indigo blue desert boots featuring red cord laces for a formal edge.

The statement pieces of the collection are unquestionably the leather look jackets from Looks 24 and 25, as well as the stand-alone leopard print shirt highlighting flashes of bright orange, giving the collection a youthful and audacious surprise.

Drake wore all Calvin Klein in North America during his “Would you like a tour?” back in 2013, and it seems the Canadian artist is planning yet another collaboration with the prestigious label. This time round the rapper is touring in Europe and rumoured to be wearing more amazing pieces designed by the brand’s creative director Italo Zucchelli.

One signature piece is a custom version of the “Obsession” sweatshirt from Klein’s fall/winter 2014 collection- with “Drake” embroidered on the reverse. The colour palette for this year is made up of dusky greys, a slight change from the blue hues from their last collaboration and includes sleeveless pullovers, denim jackets, graphic sweatshirts and jeans.

Drake’s 2014 “Would You Like A Tour?” featuring The Weeknd – kicked off February 19 in Germany and will come to a close with a two-night stand at London’s O2 Arena on March 24th and 25th.
