MAN is a design house that is composed of different emerging designers that present their collection together. Newcomers to MAN, Liam Hodges and Nicomende Talavera showed their spring/summer 2015 collections alongside Bobby Abley, who has been at MAN for many years. These three collections below are very distinct and their MAN runway show was easily one of the most exciting so far of LCM.
The extensive collection by the collective that makes up MAN was amazing this year. With 51 different looks on show, it demonstrated exactly what London Collections: Men is all about – the most exciting and fresh talent in menswear.
The collection went from minimalism to elaborate patterns and prints, to conceptual pieces inspired by Muslim and Pakistani garments that are commonly seen around London. Some of the work and the prints naturally remind us of Raf Simons, but with the designer’s distinct vision – rather than just copying Raf. This collection is made up of many different designers and it is evident with their own distinct directions that their clothes have taken. Each of these designers could have had their own collection at their own show and still had amazing reviews – all of them in one show however is just something else.
