Barneys and Common Projects update the Achilles Low sneaker.
Barneys New York have teamed up with Common Projects on a limited edition take on the brand’s Achilles Low silhouette, in their latest edition of their ongoing “BNY Sole Series” project celebrating sneakers in all their forms. The duo have given the low-top tennis-inspired shoe a rework, with a perforated upper accompanying its contrasting midsole – finished off with CP’s trademark gold serial numbers on the heel, naturally.
Another from the collection features a red and black colour combination, while the other pair gets the black and white monochrome treatment. Each set is matched with the same colourway laces.
The collection is available at Barneys online.
Adidas reveal its upcoming Tubular Doom Silhouette.
Adidas’s Tubular technology is not only eye catching, but has also been referred to as one of the brand’s most comfortable systems used within its footwear. So as the Tubular Runner and X models both continue to make impressive strides for the brand, it seems 2016 is the year adidas will continue its innovative ideas.
Previewed during Paris Fashion Week, the new silhouette consists of Primeknit materials along with some Y-3 inspiration throughout. This specific edition of the adidas Tubular Doom rests on top of an off-white sole and is finished with a minimal lacing system.
The adidas Tubular’s will be releasing next year January at adidas.
