See the Ami Autumn/Winter 2017 Menswear collection as it appeared on the runway at Paris Fashion Week:
One of most exciting labels of those past five years, AMI managed to maintain a stylish coherence throughout the seasons. Indeed, the refreshing brand presented its Autumn/Winter 2017 collection during Paris Fashion Week, led by fashion designer Alexandre Mattiussi.
Within a neon-coloured atmosphere, one could immediately think of Lights of Soho or the latest hyped place, God’s Own Junkyard located in Walthamstow. Both of them have this sense of witty humour while mesmerizing their visitors as soon as one gets in. Reflecting the neons with a purple jumper or a yellow-mustard coat, AMI toys with the same kind of mix. The collection created a fusion of ludicrous ambiance and modernized menswear pieces. It then makes a lot of sense that Alexandre Mattiussi took on the light-hearted side of fashion to introduce checked coats and jackets or even striped handbags. Long live the fun, seemed to be saying Alexandre Mattiussi.
