Fashion Scout helps emerging designers to showcase their collections on a bigger platform. Orange Culture, a Nigerian brand founded in 2011, was one of a few selected ”Ones To Watch” and it was also the very first Nigerian brand to be invited to present its collection at LFW. Despite starting off in womenswear, the designer behind Orange Culture, Adebayo Oke-Lawal, decided to focus on menswear and presented his androgynous menswear line at LFW. He described his brand as a movement to encourage men to express themselves. The designer playfully mixed western tailoring with Nigerian fabrics and his brightly coloured looks have already received a very positive response on social media. We, at PAUSE, love the collection presented by the upcoming designer and we cannot wait to see more of his designs!
