By March 20, 2019Fashion News

A "symbolic view on consumerism."

In an ironic manner which we have come to expect from Bernhard Willhelm, the German designer presents his view of consumerism for the brands Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

The most blatant of references to consumer culture comes in the form of a jumper bearing the face of Apple co-creator Steve Jobs with “consumers” written between the late businessman’s hands.

A further reference throughout the collection is basketball, with multiple basketballs serving as accessories and models being cast from Veniceball basketball team, the designer had just spent a couple of months in the Italian city.

Find the vast collection, which was shown at Paris Fashion Week, below.
