At just a two-minute walk from Southwark Station,
Numnum offers quick, casual Chinese cuisine on a London living budget.
I mean, meal for two people at under £20. Winning.
The launch of the Southwark site follows a brick lane pop-up
that was a hit. The small menu is ever-changing to accommodate what is in season.
soups, dumplings and rices are options on the menu.
The signature dish is the bone marrow fried rice.
I also tried the beef noodle soup that was a large bowl full of yummy flavours.
Golden Honey and Spice Roasted Chicken would have been ordered again
were it not for the filling dumpling options. It’s all made from scratch with minimal waste.
Numnum is great for an informal catch-up or night out with a larger group of friends.
bigger groups, I recommend ordering a main and sharing some side options.
Do let the staff know if you prefer your food hot and spicy to mild.
They can make suggestions as I like mine with a kick.
