Modernised heritage pieces.
Burberry just unveiled it’s Autumn/Winter 2019 pre-collection packed with reimagined signature pieces and tailored staples.
Shot by Mark Borthwick, the Ricardo Tisci designed collection features a host of formal pieces including a pinstriped wool suit, camel-hued coat and black coat with contrasting white topstitch detailing, all dressed with a reworked and modernised Burberry aesthetic like we have seen from the luxury British brand recently. Elsewhere in the collection, we see a Thomas Burberry Monogrammed jacket alongside a new take khaki take on the classic Burberry trench coat and oversized silk puffer scarf.
Talking about this collection and his vision for the brand since taking over, Ricardo Tiscio said “I wanted this collection to be a continuation of the story I began to tell in September with my debut Burberry collection. I’m focusing on establishing our codes through archive prints, house colours and iconic outerwear, while cementing the new themes I set out in my first season, including the Thomas BurberryMonogram, evening wear and tailoring.”
