Inspired by the '70s.
As the weather begins to change, Gucci is already prepping for the Autumn with its latest release of two zip-up sweaters.
The first of the Alessandro Michele designed pieces draws inspiration from the 1970s and features Gucci’s all-over linked logos, yellow and red stars, a central silver zipper, a mock neck collar and ribbing effects on the cuffs and hem. The other sweater appears in a striped navy and white jacquard zip-up, with metallic gold-toned cross-stitch detailing throughout. Referencing the ’70s, the sweater dons a v-shaped green and red pattern making the knitwear piece mirror a sleeveless vest. Alongside the signature house stripes on the front and rear, the sweater is rounded out with repeated metallic gold jacquard ‘GG’ logos and silver hardware.
