Celebrating the Outdoors.
Japanese brand Uniqlo and revered British label J.W. Anderson today announced the launch of their upcoming collaborative collection for the autumn/winter 2019 season.
Centring around the great British outdoors, notably the town of St. Ives in Cornwall, the new LifeWear collection will emulate the seamless blend of art and nature with the fusion of traditional British design notes and the more contemporary aesthetic Anderson has become synonymous with. Commenting on the launch, Jonathan Anderson elaborated:
“Like all the seasons I’ve done with UNIQLO, it’s always interesting to see the collection evolve through the meetings with the teams and see if it really becomes this amalgamation of LifeWear and JW Anderson. I liked this idea of pops of colour to make the heritage British patterns and colours feel a bit more modern. Contrasting pops of colour and tartan are very present.”
