Givenchy takes us to Atlantis.
Offering up the latest from Givenchy Menswear, the luxury french house recently unveiled its Pre-Fall 2020 Collection lookbook which turns to the lost city of Atlantis for aesthetic inspiration.
Under Claire Waight Keller’s creative direction, the drop serves up a slew of bold coloured garments in the form of sharp tailored suits, shirts and accessories alongside more subdued staples in black, navy and khaki such as bombers, overcoats and high-neck jumpers. Equally, in tune with nature on a practical level, Keller spoke to WWD about her efforts continued to integrate sustainable materials into her collections:
“Talking to designers within our group, it’s something we’re all extremely conscious of. But it’s a process, it takes time, and I think even Stella has been quite open about the fact that it can take several years to get something to the point where it’s at a commercially acceptable level.”
