"The New Formals."
Taking a new direction, Virgil and Louis Vuitton’s atelier have just unveiled the latest collection of men’s accessories and leather goods.
Shot by Johan Sandberg, the new Louis Vuitton lookbook highlights seven newly introduced shapes with three new styles to be added later in the year. Designed under the watchful eye of Virgil Abloh, the leather goods in “The NEw Formals,” merge traditional business accessory components with signature Virgil Abloh designs codes as pieces such as a briefcase are reworked with a black premium leather, grey LV monogram and squared edges reminiscent of those found of the recently dropped Louis Vuitton bags. The collection also includes a travel-business bag which features ample pockets and orange D-ring hardware, as well as a Steamer PM satchel which comes fully loaded with an embossed LV monogrammed leather and signature hardware chain.
