Arriving soon.
Redesigning the Reebok Classic Leather and Club C models, Maison Margiela continue to give their design touch to the classic Reebok silhouettes.
With this collection, Maison Margiela Creative Director John Galliano looks to “the memory of” the past and looks for something that once was, deconstructing classic pieces to create something new. In traditionally elusive style, Galliano can’t be held down as he mixes up the design style once again as these two Reebok silhouettes remove Margiela’s classic tab-style toe, instead washing both versions of the shoe in all-over black and white designs. The Reebok Classic Leather gets rid of the Reebok emblem and utilises suede, with other notable features including rough around the edges material cuts on the heel as well as overlapping mudguards. The summer classic Club C shoe also receives an uneven treatment with cut up Margiela x Reebok branding, uneven cuts, and contrasting fabrics making this another everyday wear from Margiela.
The pairs are set to release on March 25th via the Reebok website. The retail price is set at £329. Check out imagery below.
