Sean Wetherspoon has been active on Instagram as of late, teasing several new sneaker silhouettes and designs for his range of adidas creations, with this latest iteration keeping to the designer’s ever-popular signatures.
Taking on more of an athletic-inspired style, Wetherspoon took to Instagram to provide a first look at his version of the adidas Orketro and captioned the post, “One of my favourite sneakers I have ever worked on”, tagging both adidas Originals and Wetherspoon Designs. The pair includes minimal branding for the mesh upper, a low riding sock line and midfoot, an aged midsole, as well as a predominantly pink, black, blue, and white colour palette. Additionally, the California native placed a ‘plant’ emoji in the caption, suggesting that they’re likely to stick to his eco-friendly mantra of using sustainable materials.
