Birkenstock unveils a ‘winterised’ Kyoto ahead of its Autumn 2022 Sandal Collection.
Following the recent “mulement” that has seen the Birkenstock Boston skyrocket in relevance, the German footwear brand has returned to dominate the colder months with their shearling-lined Kyoto.
With an open-toe design, much like the beloved Arizona, the Kyoto features a singular strap that replaces the typical buckle with velcro on the suede panels for ease of use. By adding fur lining that covers the orthopaedic cork footbed that we all know and love, comfort and warmth aren’t compromised for this new iteration of the Kyoto that allows Birkenstock to be a year-round footwear staple for any wardrobe.
