A One-of-One.
Founder and owner of New York-born brand KidSuper Colm Dillane took to Instagram over the weekend to share imagery for an official collaboration between his brand and famous French fashion house, Louis Vuitton.
The ever-creative Dillane has become widely known for his left-of-centre graphic and design choices with KidSuper, and this collaboration with Louis Vuitton only gets more off the wall. Based on Louis Vuitton’s history of travel, this collaborative piece takes this notion to the extreme and forms Louis Vuitton’s LV200 into an actual means of travel, attaching a hot air balloon-style attachment to the top. Having previously unofficially pitched the idea to Instagram, Dillane’s winning of the LVMH Karl Lagerfeld award saw the collaboration officially come to life, with the one-of-one piece boasting Louis Vuitton’s iconic brown monogram ‘LV’ print, vibrant green graffitied ‘KS Made for Adventures’ and KidSuper text, as well as a red and white striped hot air balloon attachment adorned with blue ‘LOUIS’ text across the front.
