Internet-famous clothing outfit Awake NY have come forward with their latest venture, unveiling its latest garments for the Autumn/Winter 2022 season.
Launched in New York in 2012 by Angelo Baque, Supreme’s former brand director, Awake NY has long been a mainstay in the streetwear scene, acting as a platform that reflects “the diversity that has defined the city’s cultural landscape.” For the Autumn/Winter 2022 season, the Instagram-famous label have tapped into an array of different stylings that accommodate and merge both streetwear and formal wear, with this collection celebrating the brand’s 10th anniversary. The range includes everyday garments like hoodies, t-shirts and tracksuits to more standout pieces like quilted bomber jackets, graphic overshirts and vibrantly-coloured knitwear.
Picking apart the collection, some highlights from the released campaign imagery include a teal canvas work jacket with stitched Awake NY detailing, a blue floral black overcoat, a purple and red tartan two-piece suit, a blue tartan “Awake New York” stitched cap, as well as a navy hoodie adorned with green and yellow stitched lettering.
