Ludovic de Saint Sernin is Ann Demeulemeester’s New Creative Director

By December 2, 2022Fashion News

The latest appointment in high fashion's recent shakeup.

Following the exit of Sébastien Meunier in 2020, Ludovic de Saint Sernin becomes the first Ann Demeulemeester creative director since Meunier’s departure. The Belgian designer worked in Balmain’s design team for two years before founding his eponymous label in 2017 and has since made a name for himself for his slender, gender-neutral designs that have an erotic undertone.

“Sensuality, tension, silhouette, fluidity, wildness and a graphic feel are defining pillars of the language Ludovic de Saint Sernin is about to build as he traces the new course of Ann Demeulemeester, injecting his approach to fashion as a tool to shape and free one’s presence and appearance,” said the brand on Instagram.

His first collection will be shown at Paris Fashion Week in March for Ann Demeulemeester’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection.
