World-renowned jewellery brand Swarovski have brought Italian high fashion sneaker brand Golden Goose into their Creators Lab for a collaborative release of the iconic Golden Goose Super-Star sneaker.
Having most recently tapped Advisory Board Crystals and Aquazzura for collaborative releases, Swarovski Creators Lab looks to Golden Goose this time around as the famous sneaker brand bring their iconic Super-Star sneaker into the fray. Opting for their typically bedazzling look, Swarovski adorn two silver and light pink iterations of Golden Goose’s Super-Star silhouette in a selection of differently-sized Swarovski crystals, citing the skate scene of Venice Beach as a point of inspiration for this capsule. The former silver pair boast a leather composition with hits of suede adorning the signature midfoot Golden Goose star emblem as well as the heel tabs and inserts. The second pink pair rock a reversed composition, donning a pink suede upper and white leather accents on the same midfoot branding, heel tabs and inserts. Additionally, the release comes alongside a collaboratively-branded skateboard that features a subtle crystallised band adorned with the Swarovski and Golden Goose watermarks, whilst the bottom of the deck boasts clear, grey and black Swarovski crystals formed in the shape of the Golden Goose Flag.
