‘Nation Du Ciel’
Everyone’s the hero when it comes to Pièces Uniques new collection for Fall/Winter 2023 as the French label tells the story of a selection of main characters from an imaginary city in the sky through the use of the primary colours of paint and the layering of various new materials including tulle and monogram-embossed leather.
Acting as an ode to Creative Director Edmond Luu’s childhood memories alongside references to some of his favourite books from Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki to the Skypiea city in One piece by Eiichiro Oda, ‘Nation Du Ciel’ intends to empower and give everyone to strength overcome their daily trials.
