After debuting the initial collection at their star-studded ‘The Art of Genius’ event – which closed out London Fashion Week – Moncler Genius have stepped forward with the official campaign imagery for their newest Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which includes a slew of high-profile collaborations.
Having been in the collaborative mix for a while now, Moncler Genius are making sure to pick up where 2022 left off, debuting a selection of reimagined Moncler classics, such as the down-filled outerwear jackets. Making their initial appearance at this recent London event, which saw Little Simz, Alicia Keys and Cleo Sol take the stage, as well as seeing A-listers like Future, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Rick Owens and more attend the general festivities, the collection imagery sees a host of runway-ready pieces made fit for the average urban environment, with shades of black, pink, orange, yellow, blue and purple donning intricately-designed silhouettes. The selection of pieces on display included collaborative efforts with the likes of Palm Angels, adidas Originals, fragment design, Pharrell Williams, and Salehe Bembury, with some standouts including a quilted baby pink Moncler x Palm Angels puffer down-filled jacket, a dark green Moncler x adidas Originals gilet adorned with a central ‘French’ Moncler emblem and the adidas Three Stripes, as well as a pair of high-waisted purple tactical trousers.
The recently announced new Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton Pharrell Williams also made sure to put his stamp on things, unveiling “The Art of Terrain” collection, which looks to embrace the outdoors and the wider camping lifestyle. Opting for a collective focus on shape, Pharrell’s effort sees a dark green colour palette take centre stage and an oversized puffed silhouette demands the attention of anyone around the wearer, boasting an angular shape as well as a utilitarian style through doubled backpacks, hiking clasps, and multiple tactical zippers.
