As the 15th-anniversary celebrations keep rolling, Carhartt and Japanese brand INVINCIBLE have come together for a collaborative capsule that reimagines the workwear brand’s iconic staples. Designer Shinsuke Nakada opts for more oversized cuts – a reference to Americana styling the designer is known for – and adds elements of utilitarianism for everyday practicality.
The capsule puts the modified Chore Coat at the forefront with its exaggerated silhouette, the addition of a multitude of pockets and even a hidden hood in the collar. The other standout in this collection is the Double Knee pants which, like the Chore Coat, is given an even baggier silhouette. The double knee panels are also split and separated at certain seems to give off a 3D effect. Other items include an oversized hoodie, flannel jacket, shirts and accessories.
The collaboration will be available on March 4th.
