Iconic Japanese streetwear icons BAPE are celebrating their 30th anniversary as a brand as well as its 20th anniversary with global sportswear giants adidas in style, unveiling two fresh colourways of adidas’ Forum 84 Low silhouette.
Being aptly titled the FORUM 84 BAPE® LOW, this latest release between the two follows suit to the previous successful drops, with this long partnership having seen iconic silhouettes such as the adidas Campus and Superstar receive a camouflage-led makeover, with the Dame 4 sneaker also having had a redesign. Following on from this fruitful list of releases, BAPE and adidas have joined forces on a new campaign that features Houston Rockets NBA star Jalen Green, placing the sharp-shooting baller on a ‘behind-the-scenes’ style photoshoot. Getting onto the sneakers, signature BAPE x adidas vibrant co-branding and now iconic camouflage patterning spreads itself across both the green and blue colourways, with both iterations also donning an all-leather construction and gold and silver accents on the “30” branded tongue and adidas velcro strap areas, respectively. Lastly, standout “30” dubraes sit proudly on the lower tongue area, with the green pair utilising an aged cream for the midsole whilst the blue iteration opts for a crisp white colour.
Both colourways of the BAPE x adidas FORUM 84 BAPE® LOW will be available to purchase via the adidas and BAPE websites on May 20th.
