After their initial 2022 debut, UK born designer Wales Bonner and global German sportswear outfit adidas are primed and ready to step forward with an effort fit for the SS23′ season, with unofficial imagery arriving for a new take on the adidas Samba.
Having already seen Pharrell Williams debut his take on the summer-ready silhouette, Wales Bonner is next in line to take another stab at the iconic low-lying Samba, with their previous ‘Cream/Green’, ‘Core Black’, ‘Collegiate Navy’, ‘Cream White’, and ‘Black/Green’ iterations having already been a raving success. With the imminent drop of a striking ‘Silver’ version of the adidas Samba on the horizon, it looks as though a second ‘Off White/Light Yellow’ take on the sneaker is set to also arrive, with the earthy pair keeping things summery with a light off white mixed suede and leather across the upper as well as aged yellow adidas Three Stripes branding and laces. A dark brown midsole and elongated co-branded flap tongue inputs a striking multidimensional design, with heavily stitched detailing and Wales Bonner text on the heel adding a distinct sense of craftsmanship to the sneaker.
