Departing This Month.
British designer Daniel w. Fletcher has announced that he is stepping down as Fiorucci’s Creative Director after nearly four years at the helm.
Having been unveiled as Fiorucci’s Creative Director back in January 2020, the former Next in Fashion star was brought into the house to bring his refreshing take on menswear to the table whilst putting forth a more forward-thinking vision for the Italian label. Often dipping into Fiorucci’s rich archives, Fletcher was known for pulling from iconic artistic collaborations with the likes of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, and The Angels, taking the outfit away from simple basics and more towards a refined, high-fashion direction. Looking primed to continue in his stride with his eponymous Daniel w. Fletcher brand, the designer’s last effort with Fiorucci will come in the form of a Resort 2024 collection.
