Return of La Flame.
As the iconic hip-hop forward-thinker Travis Scott returned to the music-making spotlight in the past few months, so did his eye-catching set of footwear. Having teased this pair continuously in recent times, the retro styled Nike Mac Attack sneaker has officially received a release date.
Looking set to repopularise another under-the-radar sneaker as he prepares for the release of his highly-anticipated ‘Utopia’ album drop, Travis Scott has previously tackled unloved silhouettes like the Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Max 270 React, with this release playing on nostalgia as Nike come forward with a brand new dose of campaign imagery, featuring none other than tennis legend – and Mac Attack originator – John McEnroe. Seen going head-to-head together in tennis, the latest campaign imagery sees Scott paired alongside McEnroe with the now iconic ‘Utopia’ briefcase as well as seeing both icons donning the new Mac Attack sneaker, which arrives in a neutral grey and navy colourway. Lastly, Scott is also snapped wearing a pair of Cactus Jack x Nike branded ‘Utopia’ sports shorts, suggesting apparel is set to arrive alongside the sneaker release as per usual.
With the pair rumoured to be “coming soon”, stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
