A Retro Release.
Chicago-born designer Joe Freshgoods has consistently been mentioned in and amongst some of fashion’s leading lights in recent times, having a particularly strong relationship with industry frontrunners, New Balance.
Putting his best foot forward for the rest of 2023, it looks as though the New Balance creative director is set to come forward with the Boston-formed outfit once again as new imagery was spotted via Joe Freshgoods’ Instagram. Initially debuting a fresh look at some garments for Chicago-based baseball teams Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs, which included co-designed shorts, hoodies, and t-shirts, Joe Freshgoods styled these soon-to-release pieces with an unreleased pair of what looks to be Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 sneakers. Arriving in an all-over stone beige suede, the high-top 650 features tonal laces and similarly-shaded hits of signature New Balance “N” and toe box “650” lettering, with the tongue also seeing some co-branded Joe Freshgoods x New Balance detailing.
Whilst no release date has been set for this pair as of yet, it is clear that the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 isn’t far away. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information as it arrives.
