Matthew M. Williams continues to push forward with his own 1017 ALYX 9SM brand after his Givenchy exit, this time around debuting a first look at some striking denim goods.
Made in Japan, the latest range of product set to come out of 1017 ALYX 9SM looks set to be an all-new denim range that attempts to cover a more everyday angle, with the brand’s affection for utility also shining through. Having utilised their synonymous brand buckle across many of their projects, most notably in their Nike Air Force 1 High collaboration, 1017 ALYX 9SM turn to their branded staple yet again as this teased range of denim jeans arrive with a carpenter-style loop adorned with 1017 ALYX 9SM branded silverware buckles along the side. Covering all the bases, an extensive array of colourways also look set to release, with Williams showing off indigo blue, mid-wash blue, black, and brown variations of the classic silhouette. Lastly, a leather jacron label hits the back of the pairs and instils another subtle dose of 1017 ALYX 9SM, keeping to the brand’s minimalist design ethos.
