Debuting in three stellar yet stripped back colourways, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1000 capsule continues the duo’s longstanding love affair as the frequent collaborators keep their happy marriage in tact, stepping through with another dose of sneaker goodness. Arriving in shades of “Cream,” “Grey” and “Black,” the selection of pairs take New Balance’s retro silhouette to new heights as ALD step in with a capsule-like range that sets the precedent for designs to come, with a sleek bullet-like shape sticking to the oh so necessary basics. As might be expected, the pairs utilise a low-lying shape and opt for modernised “N” and “1000” midfoot and heel branding, a tactical lace unit, as well as a mixed mesh and neoprene composition.
