JJJJound and adidas have linked up on a pair of Samba sneakers, signalling a trend toward the direction of monochromatic brown sneakers dominating the spring footwear landscape.
Just a few days ago, adidas partnered with Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons on four donut-inspired Sambas, with each of those pairs having had at least 50% of the shoe covered in brown, with the Mocha pair receiving the most love online. When the brand tapped Wales Bonner for their Samba collaboration, two colour schemes featured brown, one being a light beige and the other a full animal print. This JJJJound collaboration uses similar design cues, opting for multiple shades of caramel brown across a premium suede upper. The shoe of the summer has been accented with lighter brown tones on the laces and darker shades on the three stripes. JJJJound branding can be seen on the sole, exposing beneath a leather interior.
