Heating Up...
Are we still here for a sneaker-cum-loafer? Well buckle up, because a “Magnet” iteration of the New Balance 1906L is seemingly around the corner.
With New Balance’s solo and collaborative 1906L ventures of late, which saw a sleek “Metallic Silver” and two white and black Junya Watanabe MAN entries steal the headlines, it looks destined that another take on the popular low-rider is primed to hit the shelves in the coming months, with a December drop date rumoured. Re-emerging in a dark grey “Magnet” colourway, the latest version of the 1906L follows in the footsteps of the prior iterations, utilising a predominantly mesh composition whilst keeping NB’s technical heel counter. Leather overlays and cushioning capsules boast a contrasting shade of dark indigo, instilling a welcome dose of colour division. Lastly, New Balance’s subtle “N” and “1906L” lettering bring in some branded detailing, with a comfort-centric Ortholite insole uniting with the mesh materials for some expert breathability.
The New Balance 1906L “Magnet” is set to release on December 11th.
